Early start to catch the ferry from Stornoway and group farting particularly bad after last nights curry. Bueatiful clear skies but very windy and heading into it so cold on deck. Full Calmac breakfasts all round and corresponding toast fight. Great views as we headed into Loch Broom. Bike taxi turned up bang on time. glad we don't have to cycle 57miles into a strong easterly.
bit of a faff in the big I as all the couriers were closed due to bank holiday monday so we had to beg a favour from a bike shop.
went for a walk around looking for pitch and putt but ended up going to the aquapark. the flumes were great. had some pizza and made it to the station in plenty of time for the sleeper. turns out the booked up bike space was taken by seafood. grrr
no real excitment on anyones return journeys. even scabbington got home on a train
